Marissa Corbett has always been an animal lover. Her passion for training dogs was spurred along when she enrolled herself and her dog as a student in a large dog training company in South Jersey. Shortly after graduating from the class, Marissa was asked to join the training team and was sent to That’s My Dog E-cademy in Hazel Green, WI. While enrolled she had the privilege of studying under great trainers in a variety of different subject matter. She regularly attends seminars and workshops hosted by well respected professionals in her industry to ensure her training education matches the leading industry practices.

Marissa is passionate about and dedicated to her dogs and to training in the most efficient ways, not just for the dog, but for the family as well. As a mother of 4 and an owner of 3 dogs, Marissa understands the importance of a well-behaved dog and how challenging it can be when a pet’s behavior begins to negatively affect a family. It was just a matter of time before Marissa started Above and Beyond Dog Training. It was her wish to improve the quality of relationships between families and their pets throughout the South Jersey and surrounding areas.
